We have met up with the Viking welcoming committee at the airport and am waiting for a bus. Since we are using the WiFi in a Dutch speaking country, the program has switched over to Dutch and is correcting everything to British English. Very interesting.
It is 51 degrees Fahrenheit. Quite the change. As we were descending through the clouds over the English Channel we could see a lot of boat traffic. And surprisingly close to the shipping lane was a wind farm of perhaps 40 modern wind turbines. All the houses are jammed together so there is as much farm land as possible. There must be a million green houses. OK, maybe only a hundred thousand. But certainly a lot.
We had tail winds up to 150 mph along the flight so we arrived about 40 minutes early. That is why we are waiting on the bus. I would try to agttach a photo but I can't figure out what "attach" is in Dutch. I do recognize "Publish" as it is in red and starts with a "P".
