Even though totally uneventful I loved it. We entered the lock from the low water side and the Captain stabilized the ship without tying off. They sounded the horn and lowered the gate behind us. After just 20 minutes and raising the water level a measly 2 feet they opened the other gate and we were underway again.
I had previously been lead to believe that there were only half that number of locks and that we were going to traverse them all at night, like we did with this one. It turns out that we are going to traverse a total of 67 and lots of them will be traversed in the daylight. Pictures then.
