Weight

From the things I've read about cruising, you usually gain 10 to 12 pounds during your trip. And with our trip being a little longer than most, I could imagine putting on even more. Since I can't really afford to put on a pound, I started to cut back on my consumption a few weeks ago. So far I have lost nothing.  That doesn't bode very well for the future.

  1. This from my TravelBlog post Viking Danube River Cruise:
"FTM, with all the amazing food we ate and alcohol we consumed, post trip weigh-in = I'm down 3 pounds; Connie is down 4 pounds! WoooWhoooo!"
We both attributed that to ALL the walking we did everyday.
We had no problem getting our 10,000 steps in, in fact on one day (maybe more) we had over 20k.

  2. We've signed up for some kind of tour nearly everyday. So here is hoping that the exercise will make up for the food. I wonder if the weight gain was associated with ocean cruises?
